A matchmaking activity took place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February 2008 during the European Higher Education Fair. This was the ideal opportunity to meet representatives from higher education institutions and academic networks from Europe and The Philippines, to discuss future cooperation projects. Participation was free of charge. Participation was reserved in priority to participants of the Asia-Link Symposium.

Matchmaking sessions were kept informal. During the days of the exhibition, there was an interactive noticeboard whereby participants could post their request for a meeting stating their preferences and availability. Staff were on hand to provide assistance.
