  • Information on tailor-made programmes for international students conducted in English was available.
  • The European Commission had a booth at the event, providing information on Europe.
  • Information booths where visitors were able to collect relevant information from representatives of the participating institutions were present.
  • Presentations were made, giving students the chance to find out more about study opportunities and scholarship programmes, including various European Commission programmes, such as Erasmus Mundus (a student mobility and scholarship scheme) and its Masters Courses

The EHEF mainly attracted students and young professionals interested in studying abroad, their parents, study advisors and sponsors. Many students will already have completed a first academic degree at home and will be looking for a course leading to a postgraduate degree.

The EHEF is financed by the European Union’s Asia-Link Programme. The event provided a platform for representatives of EU Member States and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to inform fair visitors about higher education opportunities in the 27 European countries.
